What You Will Be Doing:

We are hiring an Engineering Technician to develop and maintain Helion’s fusion

generators and maintenance process, procedures, and tooling. You will help

develop hardware, lead full-scale builds, and coach fellow technicians on the Build

Team. You will report directly to our Build Manager at our Everett, WA campus.

You Will:

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers to design, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and fixtures

Design and fabricate fixtures and jigs to aid in the assembly/repair of electromechanical components

Own process development and work instruction creation for energy bank maintenance

Design, build, and perform mechanical and electrical tests on parts and assemblies

Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the production process

Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50lbs

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician

Experience using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.)

Experience with CAD modeling

Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports

Efficient use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for clear documentation and communication.

Bonus Skills:

Experience designing parts/fixtures in CAD software
