Applied Materials XCT team is looking for a Control and Systems Engineering Manager/Lead. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth environment with a lot of challenging design work. We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to support our team in building state of-

the-art X-ray microscopes used by some of the most prominent scientists in the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Determining electrical components used in the productsTroubleshooting problems with electrical components and mentoring team members on how to do thisSynthesize and develop electrical design documentationDesign and develop electrical control systems, such as the PDUs and interlocksOversee EE and controls engineers
Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or PhysicsFamiliarity with complex mechanical assembliesExperience with motion control systems, EPICS/SCADAPreferred experience with semiconductor systems
Skills

Attention to detailAbility to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines and set priorities according to current demandsAbility to work with minimal supervision and oversightExcellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environmentExcellent analysis skills, both data analysis and critical thinkingEnjoys developing complex prototypes

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
