Employer description

Job Description SummaryGE Vernova’s Gas Power business in Pensacola, FL is in an exciting phase of major growth — and we’re looking for a hands-on, adaptable Facilities Engineer to be part of it. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-energy, startup-minded team in the middle of one of the most significant facility expansions in the organization’s recent history: a ~$200M+ capital investment encompassing a 50,000 sq. ft. expansion and the refitting of more than 100,000 sq. ft. of existing manufacturing space.

You will work directly with leadership and a dedicated EPCM contractor to manage day-to-day construction execution — interfacing with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with GE Vernova’s operational standards. As the build-out progresses, this role will evolve into a broader Facilities Management function, giving you long-term runway and career growth within a dynamic, people-first organization.

This position requires hands-on problem solving, strong project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams. The role also includes on-call support for facility-related emergencies, and requires flexibility to work weekends as needed.
