Combining decades of research, top talent, and new technologies, we’re designing and building commercially viable fusion power plants. And we’re working with policymakers, suppliers, and many others to build the energy industry of the future.

We’re in the best position to make it happen. Since 2018, we’ve raised $4 billion of capital, making us the largest and leading fusion company in the world.

Now we’re looking for more thinkers, doers, builders, and makers to join us. People who’ll bring new perspectives, solve tough problems, and thrive as part of a team.

If that’s you and this role fits, we want to hear from you.

Join the power movement as NDT Manager – Responsible Level III
The NDT Manager is the Responsible Level III, technical leader, and people manager for NDT Operations at CFS. This role is responsible for leading the NDT technician team, serving as the Responsible Level III and Certifying Authority, and building and scaling the organization’s NDT capability from SPARC manufacturing and assembly into the future ARC fleet.
You are accountable for the successful execution of all NDT inspections across CFS manufacturing, CFS-2 construction, tokamak assembly, and vendor sites, spanning UT/UTPA, RT (CR & DR), ET, PT, MT, and VT. You will set the technical direction across the full method portfolio and own the personnel qualification and certification program. This role directly manages the NDT supervisor, and talented team of NDT technicians. You will interface directly with corporate EHS Radiation Safety, project managers, design, vendors, manufacturing, construction, and tokamak assembly to ensure personnel are scheduled and assigned to the jobs as applicable to their credentials.
