Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Create, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality, drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolve manufacturing line problems. Identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or the SPC/FDC methodology. Coordinate and carry out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handle new process baseline qualifications and manage, audit and collaborate with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives. Supervise the health of their assigned processes, ensure high-quality output, and provide proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
-
CVD/ALD or PVD thin-film deposition, including process qualification, fab-to-fab transfer, and tool-to-tool matching
-
DRAM semiconductor fabrication and process integration knowledge, including downstream process interactions
-
Advanced data analysis using JMP or Python
-
Process control using SPC and FDC systems
-
Physics, chemistry, and mathematical principles to analyze deposition processes
-
Design of Experiments (DOE) for multi-variable process optimization across multi-chamber systems
