Project Overview:
The project is a 1.3 GW simple-cycle power generation facility located in Millersport, Ohio, being constructed adjacent to a hyperscale data center campus. The facility includes multiple power generation technologies consisting of Solar Titan 130 gas turbines, Siemens SGT800 gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated balance of plant infrastructure.

The scope includes major civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, underground utility, control systems, and commissioning works required to support phased energization and turnover of the facility. Construction will be executed through a combination of direct hire and subcontracted labor supported by modularization, pre-assembly, offsite warehousing, and advanced work packaging methodologies.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will execute survey and meteorology strategy, survey scanning, and coordinate with drone pilot programs. You will supervise survey activities, subcontractors, field verification of materials, and daily data downloading and processing. Your leadership will ensure successful implementation of survey work with a project’s safety, quality, and environmental programs. #LI-BH1

Major Responsibilities:
Safety/Quality Control

Supports the survey team’s implementation of the project safety, quality, and environmental programsAssists with the housekeeping and cleanliness of the projectEnsures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safelyEnsures work methods planned and executed safelyDraws field sketches and As-built drawingsSupports Field Engineering in preparation of Non-conformance reports, Design Change Notices and Request for informationSupports in coordinating and resolving engineering, and construction problems with Superintendents or other project personnelReviews project design and engineering documents, model, and model data to ensure their completeness and readiness for safe layout and verificationPrepares Survey calculations and Survey Reports for all project disciplines/scopeSupports Field and office training program 

Equipment Management

Supports measuring and test equipment (M&TE) processSupports Projects weekly/monthly equipment collimation requirementsSupports Survey Equipment maintenance process and maintains calibration logs 

Work Planning

Prepares daily progress reports, periodic photographic progress reports and keeps supervisor informed on progress of assigned tasksUtilizes and leverages applicable software and processesMaintains and processes Monitoring and Settlement dataCoordinates and maintains Survey Work Request with Survey Field personnel or craft professionals.Arrange document control latest revisionsDevelops core understanding of ES&H CPsValidates subcontractor survey submittalsSupports in Excavation Permits and subsurface Utility coordinationSupports Importing and exporting survey data (CSV, TXT, DWG, DXF, IFC or fieldbook format).Maintain Layer Management and CAD StandardsEducation and Experience Requirements:
 Required bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) and 4-6 years of relevant experience or 8-10 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:
Survey Technical Requirements

Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activitiesMaintains the project Survey “As-Built” model.Supports Cut/fill analysis between existing and proposed surfaces.Supports in creating survey CAD drawings, including topographic features such as breaklines, spot elevations, and contours, as well as generating Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) and performing volume computations              administers the survey work request program and survey dataSupports field data inspections of commodity installation readiness (Pre-pours and post-pours)Examines the accuracy of Field data and collection methods processProvides technical support as related to survey to Field Engineering and Superintendents in a wide range of situation and configurations.Prepares Survey Reports for all project disciplines/scope  Maintains Project Survey Control Network operation (TS, Level Loops, GNSS)Demonstrates full knowledge of field Survey operationsTotal Rewards/Benefits:
