The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with technical knowledge of telecommunications networks, enabling them to effectively manage delivery efforts, align stakeholders, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes across multiple technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resource requirements, and success criteria.

  • Lead execution of complex technical projects from initiation through deployment and operational handoff.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, product, and delivery organizations.

  • Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and provide regular reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues to minimize delivery impacts.

  • Translate technical and business requirements into actionable project plans and execution roadmaps.

  • Support the deployment and integration of telecommunications solutions across multiple network domains.

  • Coordinate testing, validation, certification, and rollout activities to ensure solution quality and operational readiness.

  • Facilitate collaboration between research, engineering, and operational teams to transition new capabilities into production environments.

  • Analyze performance metrics and project outcomes to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.

  • Drive accountability across teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

  • Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution efforts for complex technical and operational challenges.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, network delivery, technical program management, or related technical project leadership roles.

  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technical projects in telecommunications, networking, or technology environments.

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex integration, deployment, or infrastructure initiatives.

  • Experience working with service providers, network operators, technology vendors, or large enterprise organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting wireless, mobile, satellite, or next-generation communications networks.

  • Knowledge of radio access networks (RAN), core network technologies, transport networks, IMS, OSS/BSS, or related telecommunications systems.

  • Familiarity with network testing, validation, integration, and performance optimization methodologies.

  • Experience working with cloud-native technologies, virtualization, software-defined networking (SDN), or network automation.

  • Understanding of telecommunications standards, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.

  • Exposure to emerging wireless technologies, edge computing, and advanced network architectures.

  • Experience managing multi-vendor programs and complex technical integrations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
