Job Description:

Build Mission-Critical Software That MattersAt General Dynamics Information Technology, you’ll work on high-impact systems that support national security missions at scale. We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to help design and build modern, cloud-native applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex backend challenges, building scalable microservices, and working with modern technologies alongside a strong technical team.

What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Kotlin microservices

Build high-throughput backend systems and APIs

Deploy and support applications in AWS using Docker and Kubernetes

Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems

Contribute to architecture, CI/CD, and engineering best practices

Collaborate across Agile teams to deliver mission-focused solutions

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
