Standard Job Description
Conducts mission/program specific real time spacecraft/satellite flight operations during readiness, execution and evaluation phases. Develops detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on-orbit satellites. Provides technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Provides failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data. Utilizes system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommends improvements. Analyzes and validates software performance. Performs flight length orbit adjust and daily special event studies.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or combined education & related experience. Experience with solving complex and/or parallel problemsStrong oral and written communication skills and ability to work within a dynamic operational environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to pivot within a dynamic operational environmentProficiency with MS Office productsAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Must be a US CitizenDesired Skills
• Experience with satellite operations
• Experience with testing, development work, or system integration
• Collaborative mindset toward internal continuous process improvement and external customer interactions

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $52400.00 - $97400.00

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
