Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Pipefitter to help support the SACSS program in Chula Vista, California.

This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided.

Job Description:

Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni).Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.Sil-brazes cuni pipe.Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Participates in special projects, as required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.42 - $39.80. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
