The EADGE-T system is an integrated air missile defense, air battle management capability for the UAE integrating existing sensors, weapons as well as new capabilities.

THE WORK

EADGE-T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the project team in a Software Integrated Product Team Lead position. In this role, you will:

Decompose higher-level roadmap capabilities into product-team specific work scopeDrive processes for software teams to design, implement, and integrate/test software featuresPerform high-level peer reviews for critical software capabilities Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needsCollaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needsAggregate and report execution status to project leadership

For this role, candidates who are local to Colorado Springs, CO are preferred. The specific weekly work schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Basic Qualifications
Significant experience with Python and JavaExperience with RHEL/WindowsExperience working in agile environments (Kanban/Scrum)Extensive experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Previous software leadership/SME experiencePrevious experience driving technical roadmap decisionsComprehensive understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principlesBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 9+ years of experience or equivalent experience/combined educationAbility to travel OCONUSAbility to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance Desired Skills
Comprehensive understanding of Services, Microservices, Software Factories, Cloud-native and Service-Oriented ArchitecturesHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmExperience with CI/CD tooling (Git, GitLab, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworksExperience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and regression testing expertisePrevious Earned Value Management (EVM)/Cost Account Management (CAM) ExperienceCybersecurity knowledge for software products (user authentication, data encryption) and secure development handling of classified informationActive Secret Clearance Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
