Standard Job Description
Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.Basic Qualifications
• Technology: Embedded Software
• Hardware/Software integration
• Design patterns
• Language: C++ OO programming and design
• Multi-core and multi-threaded programming
• Experience with object-oriented design
• OS: Linux or VxWorks
• Must have interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Must be a US citizen.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
