Job DescriptionJob Description Summary

Perform a variety of tasks to perform the moulding function of wind turbine manufacturing safely and efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform moulding tasks following work instructionsWear all personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usageApply gel coat, lay glass and foam, smooth wrinkles and trim glass.Assemble root plate with bushingsLay profiles and place bag over shellComplete the infusion process – vacuum check, begin infusion, trouble shoot and take temperatures for remainder of process.

Required Qualifications

Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.Ability to push/pull heavy objects.Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.Ability to work with hands for an extended period.Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.Ability to work individually and as part of a team.Requires wearing of respirator.

High School Diploma/GED or related experiencePrevious Manufacturing experiencePrevious experience working with wind turbine blades or composites

Position Shift: Mon-Fri 10pm-6:30am

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $22.88-$27.50.
