Job Description:

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.

Essential Functions:

Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive naturePerforms SMT/AOI equipment operation and processesHas J-STD-001 and ability to solderFollows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align partsUses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenchesMaintains consistent quality and productivity levelsUses Microsoft Office programsIdentifies problems and contributes to process improvementsPerforms some hand soldering on electronic assembliesWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environmentWorks as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasksTraversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).Able to transport up to 25 lbs. 

 Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York is $36,920 - $63,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
