Job Description:

The Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD) Segment, Spectrum Superiority - Brevard (S2B) Sector is seeking a detail-oriented, hard working Engineering Services professional to join our team in delivering customer maintainability solutions and Integrated Product Support (IPS) deliverables for the L3Harris Ground Mid-Course Defense (GMD)/Ground Mid-Course Defense Weapon System (GWS) Program. The engineer will join the team in working closely with program management, engineering, and other functions to contribute to the reliability and maintainability analysis, predictions and planning around spares and repairs, while meeting relevant mandates and statutory requirements.

Essential Functions:

Provide IPS support as required by contract to include but not limited to:Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)R&M spares modelingMaintenance Task Analysis (MTA)Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Asset managementPHS&T PlansLogistics subject matter contribution to technical and training manuals/materialsLife Cycle Sustainment Planning and Cost ModelingDepot OperationsFacilities ManagementProduct Support Analysis (PSA)DMSMS/ObsolescenceProvisioningEngineering Material RequestsSupport depot sustainment work as requiredDeveloping and monitoring Key Performance Indicators related to sustainment on programExperience with all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (technical degree preferred) in related field with minimum of four years’ experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of four years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of eight years of prior related experience.A minimum of two years of experience in IPS Development on DoW Weapons Systems and working knowledge of how logistics/sustainment integrates with all 12 elements of IPS.  

Preferred Additional Skills:

Basic to Mid-level level use and understanding of common IPS systems including but not limited to PowerLOG-J, SLICwave, COMPASS, Enterprise Asset Management Tools (Sunflower), etc.Basic to moderate experience and familiarity utilizing Agile PDM or similar Life Cycle Management tool.Proposal/Basis of Estimate ProficiencyExperience interpreting Data Item Description (DID) and Statement of Work (SOW) informationExperience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to gain efficiencies producing deliverablesAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required#LI-LS4
