What You Will Be Doing

Join the Enterprise Demand Supply Control (EDSC) organization as a manager for the span and lead time validation team.  Aircraft span is what we can commit to with our customers to deliver aircraft. It is the total time from first requirment load to the sale of an aircraft.  This team manages actions and improvement plans to decrease our overall span time for all of our programs.  Shorter spans improve inventory turnover, increased flexibility, and higher profits.  This team also manages the planned delivery time (PDT), or lead time, of all of our procurred parts in order to support our customer’s requirements and to ensure we have accurate leads in the system.  ​

This role provides the opportunity for senior leadership visibility between Program Management, Supply Chain Management, and Sustainment OperationsAs a leader you will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actionsEstablish and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations task schedules for the assigned scopeManage overhead expenditures, develop staffing plans, and ensure budget alignment with operations needs for your teamDrive efficiency and best practices across the team Full Time Onsite Role

Basic Qualifications
 

Experience with planning systems such as SAP or KinaxisExperience leading, working, and collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience in leadership or as team lead and demonstrated ability to influence and lead peopleExperience summarizing and presenting data to senior leadership in a clear, concise, & compelling formatDesired Skills
Experience with lead time validationAerospace & Defense industry experienceSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationStrong expertise with ERP/MRP systems, configuration management, and capability constraintsFamiliarity using SAP queries and investigating issuesProven track record of leading organizational change initiativesTranslate long‑term business strategy into actionable planning tacticsHighly proficient in MS Office suite of toolsExperience with Corrective Action and Problem SolvingBachelors degree or equivelant experience/combined education in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
