Performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.Basic Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldDevelopment experience with any programming language, especially Java, Python, or C#Must be a US CitizenDesired Skills
Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration toolsExperience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceExperience with troubleshooting in a multi-service systemDevelopment experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash, ash, ksh)Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environmentAbility to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional levelStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryPay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
